It was different from the usual vampire books, and it was longer than some of the other serialized books I've bought. The character of Ashlyn was fascinating, seeing this new vampire utopia from her eyes. The supporting cast were good too, and I'm especially intrigued by Union Jack and Ashlyn's relationship with vampire hunk Jensen. Quite sad in parts, especially with the bits with Ashlyn's brother, though there is humor too. Gotta love vampire vampire matriarch Catherine. Imagine a cross between every evil bitch character ever and you have Catherine Sublime. Very good start. I would've given it 4 stars but I think it could get better.Product details

It took way to long to get to the plot of the story. Once it did, it was still hard to understand what the heck had happened. This is one of the few books I wanted to delete without finishing. Overall a lot more questions than answers and not really likable or relatable characters.
If you love vampire stories as much as I do, it's a complete must you read "The Girl From Yesterday- The Blood Dynasty Chronicles." David does an incredible job of making this story interesting with the many twist and turns Ashlyn goes through. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and look forward to Part 2.
I thought the book was real good kept me going through out the book.could not put it down that much. for a free book was great.
Yeah just end something without really saying anything,, I have found that these self published books make you buy the whole set just to get one books worth out of it. This author was being rather blatant about it. I would not pay for the additional books at all the story was short and very stupid, good thing this one was for free,, I think I will wait to buy a book next time instead of getting myself strung along by greedy authors with little to say...
Great product
This book was more amazing than I expected! With so many teen vampire books out, I thought I was going to read just another version of something already done, but I was wrong. There were so many unique aspects of this book! The red net that cast a bloody hue over the city to protect the vampires from the UV rays was the coolest part of the book for me. I could image it clearly, and it explained how the vamps could be out during the day in a realistic way. I also liked the idea of the vampires hating technological advances. My favorite character, by far, was Catherine. She never did anything I expected! The Girl from Yesterday has great writing, with an ending you won't see coming!
I don't usually like vampire books (Rice excluded), but this has a different vibe. I love the end of our world thing. Vampires take over, really cool.
